Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Psychology lessons at both A Level and IB Diploma, fostering curiosity and analytical thinking.
- Support the development of the Psychology department and contribute to curriculum design and innovation.
- Prepare students effectively for examinations and further study in Psychology.
- Promote student wellbeing and active learning, with a focus on pastoral care.
- Participate in a wide range of school activities and contribute to the broader school community.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Humanities and Social Sciences faculty.
- Stay current with developments in the field of Psychology and incorporate them into teaching practice.
- Provide individualised support to students to ensure their academic and personal growth.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Psychology at Secondary level.
- Proven ability to teach Psychology at A Level and IB Diploma.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student wellbeing and pastoral care.
- Flexibility and a sense of humour, with the ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and contribute to the school community.
Preferred
- Experience teaching an additional subject within the Humanities or Social Sciences faculty.
- Experience with international education or teaching in a multicultural environment.
- Familiarity with Spanish language and culture is an advantage.
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation in Psychology education.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
