Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the IB PYP curriculum
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies
- Use digital tools and resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives
- Support students in developing the attributes of the IB Learner Profile
- Contribute to the overall mission and values of the school
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with a recognised teaching qualification
- Minimum of two years of recent and relevant teaching experience
- Experience teaching the IB PYP, IPC, or other inquiry-based curriculum
- Strong understanding of the IB philosophy and its application in the classroom
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons
- Proficient in using digital tools to support teaching and learning
Preferred
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
- Background in international education or cross-cultural environments
- Experience in a school offering a continuum of IB programmes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience
