Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the IB PYP curriculum
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies
  • Use digital tools and resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents
  • Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives
  • Support students in developing the attributes of the IB Learner Profile
  • Contribute to the overall mission and values of the school

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with a recognised teaching qualification
  • Minimum of two years of recent and relevant teaching experience
  • Experience teaching the IB PYP, IPC, or other inquiry-based curriculum
  • Strong understanding of the IB philosophy and its application in the classroom
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons
  • Proficient in using digital tools to support teaching and learning

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
  • Background in international education or cross-cultural environments
  • Experience in a school offering a continuum of IB programmes
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience
