The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in English, Math, and Science according to the IB PYP framework.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning environment for all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curricula that meet international standards.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and students to support student progress and well-being.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and pedagogical knowledge.
  • Monitor and assess student performance to ensure continuous learning and development.
  • Support the school’s mission by promoting diversity, inclusivity, and cultural awareness in the classroom.
  • Contribute to school events and activities that enhance the student experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Primary/Elementary/Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
  • Familiarity with international curricula and best practices in homeroom instruction.
  • Strong understanding of the IB PYP framework and its implementation strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Teaching certification.
  • Experience with international schools or teaching in a multicultural environment.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
