The Opportunity:

As a PYP Primary School Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education aligned with the IB framework. You will play a key role in shaping young learners and promoting a school culture that values global citizenship and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lessons aligned with the IB curriculum framework.
  • Provide clear and structured instruction that supports diverse learners and promotes critical thinking and creativity.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance using IB standards and provide actionable feedback to support student growth.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment that fosters student wellbeing and academic success.
  • Collaborate with the Student Support team to provide individualised support to students with learning or language needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Utilise IT and AI tools effectively to support teaching and learning while maintaining academic integrity.
  • Communicate regularly with parents through digital platforms to keep them informed of student progress.
  • Engage with the school community and participate in events that promote the school’s mission and values.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree and teaching qualifications recognised by relevant education authorities.
  • Experience in teaching and a clear understanding of the responsibilities of the role.
  • Fluency in English (C1 level).
  • Familiarity with the IB curriculum, particularly the PYP.
  • A portfolio of continuing professional development.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • A passion for promoting the school’s mission and vision.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Cultural sensitivity and a commitment to inclusion and diversity.
  • Experience in using IT and AI tools in education.
