Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages intellectual curiosity and personal growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and teaching practices
- Support students in developing critical thinking, creativity, and a sense of global citizenship
- Monitor student progress and provide targeted support to ensure academic success
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning
- Engage with parents and the wider community to promote student well-being and learning outcomes
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree with a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent in Primary Education
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, ideally within an IB curriculum school
- Strong understanding of the IB PYP framework and Approaches to Teaching
- Commitment to the IB Learner Profile values and a passion for working in a culturally diverse environment
- Availability from August 2026
Preferred
- Experience teaching the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP)
- Advanced qualifications in education or related fields
- A proven track record of improving student outcomes and fostering a collaborative teaching environment
