The Opportunity:

As a PYP Technology Coach, you will play a key role in integrating technology into the Primary Years Programme, supporting teachers in leveraging digital tools to enhance student learning. This is an opportunity to lead and inspire a forward-thinking educational community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the integration of technology into the PYP curriculum, aligning with ISTE standards and SAMR model
  • Provide professional development and coaching to teachers on effective use of educational technology
  • Evaluate and recommend learning technologies that enhance student engagement and achievement
  • Collaborate with faculty to develop and implement technology-enhanced learning strategies
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in teaching and learning
  • Stay current with emerging trends and tools in educational technology
  • Work closely with students, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless technology experience
  • Contribute to the development of school-wide technology policies and initiatives

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant degree and teacher qualification
  • Experience in 1:1 learning environments with iPadOS, MacOS, and ChromeOS
  • Evidence of recent professional development in educational technology
  • Understanding of key learning theories and instructional methods related to technology integration
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers of varying technological expertise

Preferred

  • Certification such as Apple Teacher, Apple Distinguished Educator, or Google Certified Educator
  • Experience evaluating technology integration using ISTE standards and SAMR
  • Leadership experience, with potential for advancement to the role of Primary Head of Technology & Innovation
