The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs
- Teach across a range of pedagogies, including those specific to autism and profound and multiple learning difficulties
- Work flexibly across multiple departments, including Primary, Secondary, Further Education Centre (FEC), and Learning & Life Centre (LLC)
- Support and manage a team of teaching assistants to ensure effective classroom delivery
- Promote student motivation and achievement through innovative teaching methods
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practice
- Contribute to the development and implementation of inclusive curricula
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s mission of promoting student independence and achievement
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher status
- Experience teaching students with severe and multiple learning difficulties
- Confidence in delivering lessons tailored to individual needs
- Ability to work across different departments and pedagogical approaches
- Commitment to student achievement and inclusion
Preferred
- Experience in specialist SEN settings
- Knowledge of autism spectrum condition (ASC) and PMLD teaching strategies
- Experience in curriculum development and staff training
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience with the use of new technologies in education
