As a Reception Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the early learning experiences of young students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive classroom environment, and supporting the academic and personal development of each child. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons to a class of 18 children aged 4 years old
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and personal growth
- Support the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that promotes curiosity and creativity
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent teaching standards and pupil progress
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and development
- Participate in school events and contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programme
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- British-qualified pre-school teacher
- Experience in early years education
- Excellent classroom practice and strong subject knowledge
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to working in an international environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Preferred
- Experience working in an international school setting
- Familiarity with the National Curriculum for England
- Experience with Cambridge IGCSEs or A Levels
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team
- Experience in developing and delivering extra-curricular activities
