The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly organised and friendly Receptionist Administrator to join our team on a four-day working week. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment and is able to manage multiple tasks efficiently. As the first point of contact for visitors, you will play a key role in maintaining the school's professional image and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the school's front desk operations, including visitor接待 and phone enquiries.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service and ensure a welcoming environment for all visitors.
  • Support the school office with administrative tasks, including correspondence and record-keeping.
  • Assist with the coordination of school events and meetings.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the school's reception area during term time and holidays.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of visitor logs and other relevant information.
  • Provide support to other members of the school office team as required.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in a reception or administrative role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Calm and professional manner, with the ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
  • Good computer literacy, including the use of office software such as Microsoft Office.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a school or similar educational environment.
  • Flexibility to work on Saturdays during term time and on a four-day week during holiday periods.
  • Knowledge of school policies and procedures.
  • Experience with DBS checks or similar background checks.
