The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly organised and professional Receptionist Administrator to join our team. This role is central to the school’s operations, providing first impressions to visitors, managing administrative tasks, and supporting key staff members. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and team player, committed to delivering excellent service to all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the school reception area, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and responding to enquiries.
  • Provide first aid support to students, maintaining accurate records of incidents.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, including student records, attendance, and administrative documents.
  • Ensure compliance with Safer Recruitment policies, sign-in procedures, and visitor ID checks.
  • Input details of meetings and events onto the school’s SharePoint and parent portal calendars.
  • Coordinate school trip compliance and input pupil data onto Schoolbase.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as consumables ordering, filing, scanning, and data entry.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support the smooth running of the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative support role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Office 365.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred

  • First aid certification (training can be provided).
  • Experience with school or CRM systems.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting.
