The Opportunity:

As a Receptionist and Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering a professional and friendly reception service that supports the smooth running of the school. This role is essential in ensuring that students, parents, and staff receive a warm and efficient experience, while managing administrative tasks with accuracy and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a welcoming and professional reception service to all visitors, students, parents, and staff.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Support the administration team with general office duties, including filing, data entry, and scheduling.
  • Assist with the coordination of school events, meetings, and visitor appointments.
  • Maintain a high standard of organisation and ensure all administrative processes are followed.
  • Act as a point of contact for parents and staff, offering clear and helpful information.
  • Ensure the reception area is always tidy, well-stocked, and welcoming.
  • Support the school in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all students and visitors.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative support role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficient in computer systems and basic office equipment.
  • Ability to think on your feet and confidently engage with various stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of school administrative processes.
