The Opportunity:

As a Receptionist and Parent Liaison Officer, you will be the first point of contact for parents and visitors, ensuring a seamless experience. You will play a key role in maintaining strong family relationships and supporting the school’s mission of fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Provide efficient office support to ensure smooth operations across the school.
  • Liaise with parents to address concerns, complaints, and compliments, escalating when necessary.
  • Coordinate and manage parent/community events to foster engagement and build strong relationships.
  • Support the induction process by providing welcome packs and conducting regular follow-up calls.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all parental inquiries and complaints, monitoring and escalating concerns appropriately.
  • Assist with the registration process, including KHDA student documentation and data entry into relevant systems.
  • Maintain accurate records for student attendance, absences, lateness, and early pick-ups.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of educational policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with CRM and student information systems.
  • Experience in managing parent relationships and community engagement.
