The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist to join our team and provide essential administrative and reception support to all stakeholders. This role is central to ensuring a welcoming and secure environment for students, parents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional and courteous administrative and reception support to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure all visitors undergo appropriate safeguarding checks before granting access to the school.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all interactions and administrative tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with pupils, parents, and staff.
  • Manage and support the use of administrative systems and processes.
  • Liaise with staff at all levels to ensure smooth operations.
  • Demonstrate excellent ICT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
  • Support the school's mission by embodying the values of professionalism, resilience, and teamwork.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ICT systems.
  • Ability to work flexibly and manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience in a reception or administrative role.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational environment.
  • Previous experience with CPD or leadership development programs.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and policies.
  • A passion for education and student welfare.
