The Opportunity:

As a Reflection Manager, you will lead the daily operation of the Reflection Room, creating a positive and structured environment that supports student behaviour and learning. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping students take responsibility for their actions and develop personally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operation of the Reflection Room to ensure a calm and structured environment.
  • Deliver and coordinate a high-quality programme of reflective practice for students.
  • Support students in understanding and taking responsibility for their behaviour.
  • Work closely with pastoral and teaching staff to identify suitable interventions and monitor student progress.
  • Ensure students continue to access appropriate curriculum work during reflection.
  • Maintain accurate records and use school systems effectively.
  • Build constructive relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • Promote a positive and professional approach to working with young people.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in behaviour management and working with young people.
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and authoritative under pressure.
  • Confidence in using school systems and maintaining accurate records.
  • Commitment to supporting student improvement and personal accountability.

Preferred

  • Experience in reflective practice or pastoral support roles.
  • Background in education or youth work.
  • Experience with curriculum delivery or student intervention strategies.
