The Opportunity:

As a Regional Operations Lead, you will play a key role in providing strategic oversight, operational guidance, and quality assurance across multiple schools. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in SEND education while supporting school leaders to deliver high-quality, aspirational learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with school leaders to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance while supporting the delivery of high-quality education.
  • Act as a critical friend, offering challenge, encouragement, and direction to foster autonomy and innovation.
  • Support and develop leadership teams through coaching, mentoring, and capacity building.
  • Promote and uphold the organisation's culture, ensuring that core values and aspirations are embedded in all aspects of school life.
  • Collaborate with Group Support colleagues to implement research-led developments and maintain consistency and excellence across services.
  • Provide strategic guidance to school leaders, balancing empowerment with necessary support and direction.
  • Ensure that SEND education principles are effectively integrated into all school operations and outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of initiatives to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with organisational goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in SEND education, ideally as a Headteacher or senior school leader.
  • Strong leadership and management experience with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
  • Deep understanding of the operational and strategic demands of leading specialist education settings.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest expectations for students, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic oversight and operational guidance in a complex educational environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in Learning Lead roles, with a passion for developing others and investing in team growth.
  • A reflective and forward-thinking mindset, embracing innovation and best practice.
  • Experience with quality assurance and school improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication, empathy, and integrity in leadership roles.
