The Opportunity:

As a Reintegration Centre Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting students through short-term intervention and reintegration into mainstream learning. This is a key position in maintaining a positive and structured learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise students within the Reintegration Centre, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Liaise with pastoral staff, teachers, and senior leaders to support students' return to mainstream lessons.
  • Monitor and address student behaviour, implementing strategies to encourage positive conduct.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks related to student admissions and progress.
  • Collaborate with the Welfare and SEND teams to provide tailored support for students with additional needs.
  • Ensure compliance with the school's behaviour policy and contribute to its ongoing development.
  • Support students in developing the skills and confidence needed to reintegrate successfully.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions to maintain professional development and stay updated on best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in student support or behaviour management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and manage challenging situations.
  • Experience in a school or educational setting, preferably with a focus on student welfare.
  • Commitment to promoting positive behaviour and student well-being.

Preferred

  • Experience in a reintegration or similar support role within a school.
  • Knowledge of pastoral care and student reintegration strategies.
  • Experience working with students with additional needs or special educational needs.
  • Familiarity with behaviour management policies and procedures.
