Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Religious Education and PSHE lessons across all key stages
- Plan and implement engaging and challenging curricula aligned with AQA specifications
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Social Sciences faculty to enhance teaching and learning
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum
- Support students in developing critical thinking, ethical understanding, and personal growth
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Religious Education
- Strong knowledge of RE at KS4 and the AQA curriculum
- Experience teaching across the full age and ability range
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to student success and personal development
Preferred
- Experience in teaching PSHE
- Familiarity with inclusive teaching strategies
- Experience with pastoral care and student support
- Experience with continuous professional development
