The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Religious Education to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and inspire students.
  • Monitor and track student progress using data to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with the RE team to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Promote the Catholic ethos and values within the classroom and wider school community.
  • Support students in developing their understanding of religion and philosophy.
  • Contribute to the school’s mission of fostering respect, dignity, and inclusivity.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Religious Education.
  • Strong subject knowledge in RE and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Experience in monitoring student progress and using data to improve outcomes.
  • Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of the school.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Experience with inclusive teaching practices.
  • Ability to contribute to the development of the RE curriculum.
  • Experience in pastoral care or student support.
