The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Resourced Provision Teacher to support Key Stages 3 and 4 students with additional learning needs. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact through tailored teaching and collaboration with the SENCo and Inclusion Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students
- Support students with additional learning needs and Autism Spectrum Condition
- Work closely with the SENCo, Inclusion Lead, and class teachers to ensure effective communication and academic progress
- Develop and implement individual learning programmes based on assessment and target setting
- Liaise with parents and carers to support student learning and development
- Contribute to the overall development of the resourced provision
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Participate in professional development and training initiatives
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher status or equivalent
- Honours degree
- Evidence of recent and relevant professional development related to pupils with ASC
- Ability to plan and implement individual learning programmes
- Strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff
Preferred
- Experience working with students with special educational needs
- Experience in a resourced provision or similar setting
- Knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies for pupils with Autism and social communication needs
