The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Resourced Provision Teacher to support Key Stages 3 and 4 students with additional learning needs. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact through tailored teaching and collaboration with the SENCo and Inclusion Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students
  • Support students with additional learning needs and Autism Spectrum Condition
  • Work closely with the SENCo, Inclusion Lead, and class teachers to ensure effective communication and academic progress
  • Develop and implement individual learning programmes based on assessment and target setting
  • Liaise with parents and carers to support student learning and development
  • Contribute to the overall development of the resourced provision
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in professional development and training initiatives

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher status or equivalent
  • Honours degree
  • Evidence of recent and relevant professional development related to pupils with ASC
  • Ability to plan and implement individual learning programmes
  • Strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff

Preferred

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Experience in a resourced provision or similar setting
  • Knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies for pupils with Autism and social communication needs
