The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Resourced Provision Teacher to support Key Stages 3 and 4 students with additional learning needs. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact through tailored teaching and collaboration with the SENCo and Inclusion Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students
Support students with additional learning needs and Autism Spectrum Condition
Work closely with the SENCo, Inclusion Lead, and class teachers to ensure effective communication and academic progress
Develop and implement individual learning programmes based on assessment and target setting
Liaise with parents and carers to support student learning and development
Contribute to the overall development of the resourced provision
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Participate in professional development and training initiatives

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Qualified teacher status or equivalent
Honours degree
Evidence of recent and relevant professional development related to pupils with ASC
Ability to plan and implement individual learning programmes
Strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff

Preferred

Experience working with students with special educational needs
Experience in a resourced provision or similar setting
Knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies for pupils with Autism and social communication needs
