School Business Manager needed to support a school in central Birmingham with strong Christian values and a commitment to leadership development.

As a School Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an outstanding learning environment by providing exceptional business support to pupils, teachers, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee financial, HR, business, and premises operations to support the school’s strategic goals.
- Ensure compliance with Data Protection legislation and maintain a professional office environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate and support the delivery of high-quality administrative services across the school.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement and manage ICT systems to support day-to-day operations.
- Provide expert business support to ensure the smooth running of the school’s operations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that align with the school’s mission and values.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- 5 A*-Cs at GCSE, including English and Maths.
- Proven experience in management within a public or private sector setting.
- Demonstrated experience in financial, HR, business, and/or premises operations.
- Strong knowledge of ICT administration systems.
- Understanding of Data Protection legislative requirements.
Preferred
- Experience working within a school or educational setting.
- Background in leadership or management development.
- Experience with multi-academy trust operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to Christian values and community engagement.
