Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the school’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Lead and coordinate HR functions, including staff recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the management of school estates, facilities, and support services.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators across all departments.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers and governing bodies.
- Support the school’s mission and values through effective leadership and management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a senior finance or business management role within an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, HR practices, and school operations.
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple teams and functions effectively.
- Experience in ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or college environment, preferably within the independent sector.
- Familiarity with school governance structures and reporting lines.
- Experience with financial software and HR management systems.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
