Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the security and safety of the school premises and its occupants.
- Maintain the cleanliness, order, and functionality of all school buildings and facilities.
- Assist with the day-to-day running of the school, including the management of keys, access control, and visitor logs.
- Support the maintenance and upkeep of school equipment, furniture, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for students and visitors.
- Monitor and report any issues or incidents promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Provide a friendly and professional service to students, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A clean, current UK driving licence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic and busy environment.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Previous experience in a caretaking or similar role.
- Experience with school environments or educational institutions.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Experience in maintenance or building services.
