School Cleaner needed at a school in Torton, Kidderminster. Term-time only.

The Opportunity:
As a School Cleaner, you will ensure that all areas of the school are maintained to the highest standards, creating a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students to learn and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain classrooms, communal areas, offices, kitchens, showers, halls, corridors, and toilets to the highest standards.
- Perform vacuum cleaning, spot cleaning, and floor mopping on a regular basis.
- Wipe and polish furniture, doors, windows, and other surfaces to ensure a tidy and welcoming environment.
- Empty and clean bins daily, replenish janitorial supplies, and ensure all areas are well-stocked.
- Ensure all windows are closed, lights are switched off, and the building is secure at the end of each day.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience of cleaning in a school or special needs environment (desirable but not essential).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of pride in work.
- Understanding of health and safety principles and COSHH regulations.
Preferred
- First Aid Certificate.
- Experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
