The Opportunity:

As a School Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in academic, social, and emotional development through individual and group counseling sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop individualized support plans for students.
  • Provide guidance on career planning, college applications, and personal development.
  • Monitor student well-being and refer students to appropriate resources when needed.
  • Deliver workshops and programs on topics such as stress management, study skills, and personal resilience.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records and reports.
  • Participate in school events and contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive school culture.
  • Stay up to date with best practices in student counseling and educational psychology.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in school counseling or student support services.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and teachers.
  • Commitment to student well-being and personal development.
  • Familiarity with international curricula and educational standards.

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in counseling or educational psychology.
  • Experience working in an international school setting.
  • Knowledge of the International Baccalaureate or other globally recognized curricula.
  • Experience with student mental health and well-being programs.
  • Fluency in multiple languages.
