Key Responsibilities:
- Transport pupils safely and on time using a school minibus
- Ensure a calm and welcoming environment for all students during journeys
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while driving
- Maintain the highest standards of conduct, appearance, and professional behavior
- Assist with additional trips, visits, and sporting events when required
- Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly
- Keep accurate records of all journeys and pupil movements
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A valid driving license
- A clean driving record
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly manner with children and staff
- Strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare
- Understanding of health and safety procedures
Preferred
- PCV (CPC) qualification
- Experience working with children in a school or transport setting
- Knowledge of school bus operations and procedures
