Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective science lessons to students of all abilities.
- Support the development of students’ knowledge and skills in line with the school’s academic and leadership goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create innovative and inclusive learning experiences.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure outstanding attainment and achievement.
- Participate in the school’s leadership programme and contribute to the development of students’ character and social action.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and motivating learning environment for all students.
- Stay up to date with developments in science education and incorporate best practices into teaching.
- Support extracurricular activities and initiatives that align with the school’s mission and values.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
- The ability to teach to GCSE standard.
- Experience of delivering outstanding attainment and achievement.
- Experience of innovation and creativity in engaging and progressing learners.
Preferred
- Experience of working in a school with a leadership specialism.
- Experience of teaching in a faith-based or inclusive educational setting.
- Experience of working with disadvantaged students or in a high-performing school environment.
