The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach IB DP Chemistry and support the delivery of IB MYP Science.
  • Design and implement engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the IB curriculum.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance science programs and resources.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students, contributing to their holistic development.
  • Participate in professional development and school events.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment outcomes.
  • Engage in curriculum development and innovation.
  • Support students across Grades 6-12 in a bilingual environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree with professional qualifications in Education.
  • Solid experience in teaching IB DP Chemistry.
  • Experience in a bilingual working environment.
  • Strong IT and curriculum development skills.
  • Registration as a teacher under Hong Kong law, with supervised teaching practice.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching IB MYP Science.
  • Comfort teaching across Grades 6-10 and 11-12.
  • Advanced degrees in Science or Education.
  • Experience with experiential learning and student-centered teaching methods.
