Key Responsibilities:
- Teach IB DP Chemistry and support the delivery of IB MYP Science.
- Design and implement engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the IB curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance science programs and resources.
- Provide pastoral care and support to students, contributing to their holistic development.
- Participate in professional development and school events.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment outcomes.
- Engage in curriculum development and innovation.
- Support students across Grades 6-12 in a bilingual environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree with professional qualifications in Education.
- Solid experience in teaching IB DP Chemistry.
- Experience in a bilingual working environment.
- Strong IT and curriculum development skills.
- Registration as a teacher under Hong Kong law, with supervised teaching practice.
Preferred
- Experience teaching IB MYP Science.
- Comfort teaching across Grades 6-10 and 11-12.
- Advanced degrees in Science or Education.
- Experience with experiential learning and student-centered teaching methods.
