The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Science Teacher to join our growing secondary team and contribute to the delivery of our Key Stage 4 curriculum. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on students’ learning and future success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons that are engaging, interactive, and aligned with the curriculum.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Participate in planning and delivering extracurricular activities related to Science.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
  • Support the school’s commitment to excellence by continuously improving teaching methods and student engagement.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance subject knowledge and teaching skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Science Teacher with relevant teaching experience.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Science, ideally with experience in Key Stage 4 curriculum delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and the development of a positive learning environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in a UK-based or international school setting.
  • Familiarity with British curriculum standards.
  • Experience with using technology in the classroom.
  • Previous involvement in extracurricular science activities or competitions.
