We are seeking a Science Teacher to join a high-performing school with a strong academic reputation. The role involves teaching all Science disciplines at Key Stage 3 and either Biology or Chemistry at A Level. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Science across Key Stage 3 and either Biology or Chemistry at A Level.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and inspire students.
  • Support students in achieving their academic potential and personal development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain and enhance the school’s academic standards.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the planning and delivery of the Science curriculum.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students where appropriate.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Science education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Science education.
  • Ability to teach Science at Key Stage 3 and either Biology or Chemistry at A Level.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to student success and personal development.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching at both Key Stage 3 and A Level.
  • Background in a selective or grammar school setting.
  • Experience with extra-curricular Science activities or STEM initiatives.
