We are seeking a Science Teacher to join a high-performing school with a strong academic reputation. The role involves teaching all Science disciplines at Key Stage 3 and either Biology or Chemistry at A Level. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Science across Key Stage 3 and either Biology or Chemistry at A Level.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and inspire students.
- Support students in achieving their academic potential and personal development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain and enhance the school’s academic standards.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the planning and delivery of the Science curriculum.
- Provide pastoral care and support to students where appropriate.
- Stay up to date with developments in Science education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Science education.
- Ability to teach Science at Key Stage 3 and either Biology or Chemistry at A Level.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to student success and personal development.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching at both Key Stage 3 and A Level.
- Background in a selective or grammar school setting.
- Experience with extra-curricular Science activities or STEM initiatives.
