Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging Science lessons that challenge and inspire students of all abilities.

  • Support students in achieving their full potential through differentiated instruction and personalized learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to inclusion, equity, and the highest standards of teaching.
  • Encourage student curiosity and a passion for learning through innovative and interactive teaching methods.
  • Work closely with the school leadership team to implement the school's mission and values.
  • Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and support extracurricular activities related to the subject.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Science Teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience.
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that challenge and inspire students.
  • Commitment to the values of excellence, integrity, and kindness.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with students of all abilities and backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school setting with a strong emphasis on inclusion and equity.
  • Previous experience in curriculum development or leadership roles within a school.
  • Familiarity with the Beckfoot Trust mission and values.
  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and technology integration in the classroom.
