The Opportunity:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join our growing Prep School team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and influence Science provision in a rapidly expanding school, teaching Years 5–7 and potentially beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, challenging, and creative Science lessons to a diverse range of students.
- Inspire pupils to develop a strong understanding and love of Science.
- Contribute to curriculum development as the school expands its offerings.
- Take an active role in co-curricular activities and school life.
- Provide excellent pastoral care and, where required, act as a Form Tutor.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree / PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification / Qualified Teacher Status.
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant teaching experience.
- Experience teaching the UK National Curriculum or EYFS.
- A proven ability to inspire, motivate, and engage pupils of all abilities.
- Strong classroom management and pastoral skills.
Preferred
- Experience working with EAL learners.
- An understanding of the expectations of UK independent and international schools.
