Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Science lessons to students across KS3 and A-level.
- Develop engaging and challenging curricula that meet the needs of all learners.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
- Support students in developing scientific skills and a passion for the subject.
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.
- Uphold and promote the school’s values and vision.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities in Science.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Science education.
- Ability to teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics up to KS3.
- Experience or willingness to teach one of the specialisms up to A-level.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience with ECTs (Early Career Teachers) or mentoring.
- Experience in delivering Science at A-level.
- Strong track record in student achievement and progress.
- Experience with inclusive teaching strategies and differentiated instruction.
