Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons to students across KS3 and A-level.
  • Develop engaging and challenging curricula that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Support students in developing scientific skills and a passion for the subject.
  • Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.
  • Uphold and promote the school’s values and vision.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities in Science.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Science education.
  • Ability to teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics up to KS3.
  • Experience or willingness to teach one of the specialisms up to A-level.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with ECTs (Early Career Teachers) or mentoring.
  • Experience in delivering Science at A-level.
  • Strong track record in student achievement and progress.
  • Experience with inclusive teaching strategies and differentiated instruction.
