The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Science across Key Stages 3 to 5, including GCSE and A Level
- Plan and deliver structured, engaging lessons aligned with curriculum and exam specifications
- Monitor and support student progress using assessment to inform teaching
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and department
- Support students of all abilities, including those with SEND and high prior attainment
- Participate in extracurricular activities, trips, and enrichment opportunities
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Degree in a Science-related subject and QTS (or equivalent)
- Experience teaching Science across Key Stages 3 to 5, including GCSE and/or A Level
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
Preferred
- Experience with curriculum development and department leadership
- Passion for inspiring young people and promoting a love of Science
- Experience with co-curricular and extracurricular activities
