Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement an inclusive curriculum tailored to the needs of all students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share resources.
- Support students in achieving measurable progress and high attainment across all Key Stages.
- Contribute to the design and improvement of the Science curriculum and STEM pathways.
- Uphold the school’s values and ethos by maintaining a safe, respectful, and disciplined learning environment.
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the strategic goals of the department.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Science (biology, chemistry, or physics).
- Strong commitment to student success and a proven track record in delivering high standards of teaching.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to design and deliver engaging, evidence-informed lessons.
- Experience working with students of all abilities and backgrounds.
Preferred
- Experience with curriculum development and STEM pathway planning.
- Familiarity with the Northern Schools Trust and its professional development network.
- Experience in leading or contributing to departmental improvement initiatives.
- Strong leadership potential and interest in pursuing middle or senior leadership roles.
