Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective science lessons to students aged 11 to 16.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets GCSE standards and promotes student achievement.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized learning and assessment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching methods.
- Participate in the school’s leadership programme and contribute to student development beyond the classroom.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback and guidance.
- Stay up to date with developments in science education and integrate innovative teaching approaches.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven ability to teach science to GCSE standard.
- Experience in delivering outstanding attainment and achievement in a school setting.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or contributing to a leadership programme within a school.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Experience with innovative teaching methods and technology integration.
