Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Science lessons that engage and challenge students.
- Develop innovative and inclusive teaching strategies to support diverse learners.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum and cross-subject links.
- Participate in professional development and support the school’s PRIDE values.
- Maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment.
- Provide pastoral support and contribute to the wider school community.
- Stay up to date with developments in Science education and curriculum changes.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant Science subject knowledge.
- Experience in teaching Science at secondary level.
- Commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-academy trust.
Preferred
- Experience with curriculum development or leadership roles.
- Background in promoting student creativity and leadership.
- Familiarity with the CAS programme or similar initiatives.
- Experience in providing pastoral support to students.
- Strong track record in student achievement and engagement.
