The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Science Teacher to join our Science Department. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to contribute to A-level teaching. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced and early career teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Inspire students to reach their full potential using enthusiasm and subject knowledge.
  • Use data tracking systems effectively to monitor student progress.
  • Communicate clearly with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the Science Department to raise standards and improve student outcomes.
  • Support the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and planning sessions.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Science education and curriculum changes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A qualified Teacher of Science with strong subject knowledge.
  • Experience in teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to raising student attainment and standards.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching A-level Science.
  • Confidence in using data tracking systems.
  • Experience in early career teacher induction or mentoring.
  • Passion for Science and innovation in the classroom.
