The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Science Teacher to join our Science Department. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to contribute to A-level teaching. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced and early career teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire students to reach their full potential using enthusiasm and subject knowledge.
- Use data tracking systems effectively to monitor student progress.
- Communicate clearly with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the Science Department to raise standards and improve student outcomes.
- Support the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in departmental meetings and planning sessions.
- Stay up to date with developments in Science education and curriculum changes.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A qualified Teacher of Science with strong subject knowledge.
- Experience in teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to raising student attainment and standards.
- Willingness to work as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching A-level Science.
- Confidence in using data tracking systems.
- Experience in early career teacher induction or mentoring.
- Passion for Science and innovation in the classroom.
