The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Science lessons to students from Year 7 to Year 13
- Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching strategies
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement
- Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and support professional development
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking
- Stay up to date with developments in Science education and incorporate new teaching methods
- Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized learning and pastoral care
- Contribute to the school’s wider community through extracurricular activities and events
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Science or a related field
- Proven experience in teaching Science at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach across Key Stages 3 to 5
- Commitment to student achievement, personal development, and wellbeing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Experience with early career teacher support or induction programs
- Familiarity with Science curriculum developments and teaching innovations
- Experience with teaching English as a second language or working with diverse student groups
- Leadership experience or a willingness to take on additional responsibilities
