Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in science education.
  • Strong subject knowledge in science with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Experience of delivering high-quality lessons and managing a classroom effectively.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take responsibility for student achievement.

Preferred

  • Experience with innovative teaching strategies and the use of technology in the classroom.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
  • Experience with teaching students with special educational needs or those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
  • Experience in pastoral care or student support.
