The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join our Secondary School team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality Science education up to KS5. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student achievement and development within a dynamic and supportive school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Science to students in the Secondary School following the English National Curriculum.
  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that promote student achievement and interest in Science.
  • Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with students to support their academic and personal growth.
  • Prepare and assess students in line with the school’s expectations and the requirements of the curriculum.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
  • Support the school’s mission to inspire and challenge all learners.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree.
  • PGCE or PGDE and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Experience teaching Science up to KS5.

Preferred

  • KS5 teaching experience.
  • Experience with the English National Curriculum and IGCSE/IAL qualifications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
