The Opportunity:

We are seeking an inspiring Science Teacher to join our dedicated team in August 2026. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who is eager to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives while contributing to a school that values sustainability, innovation, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons to students across Key Stage 4 and 5, including GCSE and A Level.
  • Develop and implement engaging, curriculum-aligned teaching strategies that promote student achievement and curiosity.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages collaboration and critical thinking.
  • Support students through individualised feedback and differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance Science provision and integrate new technologies into teaching and learning.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the school’s sustainability and digital innovation initiatives.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians to support student progress and wellbeing.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Science education and incorporate relevant resources into the curriculum.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A Bachelor of Education or relevant degree with PGCE or PGDE (or equivalent teaching qualification).
  • Proven experience teaching GCSE and A Level Science.
  • Strong commitment to career development, leadership, and sustainability in education.
  • Excellent interpersonal and IT skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and parents.
  • A UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check.

Preferred

  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and technology integration.
  • Background in experiential learning or use of AR and AI in the classroom.
  • Leadership experience or interest in contributing to school-wide initiatives.
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum for England.
