Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Deliver practical, inquiry-based learning that brings scientific concepts to life
- Plan and structure lessons that develop students’ scientific skills and knowledge
- Use assessment strategies to support student progress and learning outcomes
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Contribute to extracurricular activities such as STEM clubs and science competitions
- Support the development and growth of the Science department
- Promote a culture of curiosity, creativity, and scientific inquiry
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Science Teacher with relevant experience
- Strong subject knowledge in biology, chemistry, and physics
- Ability to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons
- Commitment to student progress and attainment
- Experience in working with students of all abilities
Preferred
- Experience in leading or contributing to department development
- Familiarity with modern teaching techniques and technologies
- Experience with extracurricular science activities or STEM initiatives
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
