Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback to support learning outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective curriculum.
  • Participate in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and parent engagement.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Stay up to date with developments in science education and incorporate new methods and resources into teaching.
  • Support the school’s mission of fostering happiness, confidence, and achievement in all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in science.
  • Proven experience in teaching science at a similar level.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s values and ethos.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum development or leadership within a school setting.
  • Familiarity with the latest science teaching methodologies and technologies.
