Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality science lessons aligned with the IB curriculum.
• Engage students at all levels through innovative and flexible teaching strategies.
• Collaborate with other members of the Middle School and High School department to enhance the learning experience.
• Promote a constructivist approach to learning and support student achievement.
• Use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
• Participate in the continuous development and improvement of the science program.
• Support the school’s mission to foster international understanding and lifelong learning.
• Maintain high standards of teaching and demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and creativity.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Relative teaching experience at middle / high school level.
• Qualified Teacher Status.
• Bachelor degree or above.
• Hold EU passport or have already obtained the right to be employed in Italy.

Preferred

• Experience of teaching the International Baccalaureate, particularly the Diploma Programme.
• Ability to teach other subjects.
• Knowledge and skills in ICT literacy.
• Experience with inquiry-based learning and constructivist teaching approaches.
