The Opportunity:

As a Science Teacher (Physics and Biology), you will play a key role in inspiring students across all age groups, from younger pupils to those preparing for GCSE and A Level. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Science (Physics and Biology) to students at GCSE and A Level.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that foster a love of Science.
  • Assess and report on student progress, ensuring high standards of achievement.
  • Maintain a positive and structured learning environment with clear expectations for behaviour.
  • Ensure compliance with the requirements of relevant examination boards.
  • Contribute to after-school clubs and other aspects of school life.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant degree in Science (Physics or Biology).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Science (Physics and Biology) to GCSE and A Level.
  • Evidence of achieving high levels of student progress and attainment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A passion for inspiring and motivating students in Science.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching or training to teach Film Studies A Level.
  • Ability to contribute to a collaborative and innovative teaching team.
