Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Science (Physics and Biology) to students at GCSE and A Level.
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that foster a love of Science.
- Assess and report on student progress, ensuring high standards of achievement.
- Maintain a positive and structured learning environment with clear expectations for behaviour.
- Ensure compliance with the requirements of relevant examination boards.
- Contribute to after-school clubs and other aspects of school life.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant degree in Science (Physics or Biology).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Science (Physics and Biology) to GCSE and A Level.
- Evidence of achieving high levels of student progress and attainment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A passion for inspiring and motivating students in Science.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching or training to teach Film Studies A Level.
- Ability to contribute to a collaborative and innovative teaching team.
