Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and challenging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England.
  • Use assessment data and student feedback to personalise learning and support progress for all students.
  • Reflect on teaching strategies and commit to continuous improvement in practice.
  • Create a classroom environment that encourages independence, celebrates diversity, and supports risk-taking.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum alignment and progression across departments.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, BEd or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a relevant setting
  • Evidence of strong teaching practice and student progress
  • Alignment with the school’s ethos and commitment to professional reflection and growth
  • Willingness to contribute to extra-curricular and whole-school initiatives
  • Understanding of data-informed teaching and inclusive strategies

Preferred

  • Experience in British or international curriculum schools
  • Familiarity with KHDA or DSIB frameworks, particularly regarding chemical storage and science technician management
