The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher with Psychology to join our team and make a meaningful impact on students' lives. This role offers the opportunity to teach both Science and A-level Psychology in a supportive and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science and Psychology lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching strategies that support student learning and achievement.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
  • Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
  • Engage in extracurricular activities and enrichment programs to enhance student experience.
  • Work closely with students, parents, and other staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
  • Relevant degree in Science or Psychology.
  • Experience teaching Science and Psychology at secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

  • Experience with A-level Psychology curriculum.
  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate in teaching and learning.
  • Leadership experience or interest in developing leadership skills.
