The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher with Psychology to join our team and make a meaningful impact on students' lives. This role offers the opportunity to teach both Science and A-level Psychology in a supportive and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Science and Psychology lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching strategies that support student learning and achievement.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
- Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
- Engage in extracurricular activities and enrichment programs to enhance student experience.
- Work closely with students, parents, and other staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Relevant degree in Science or Psychology.
- Experience teaching Science and Psychology at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Preferred
- Experience with A-level Psychology curriculum.
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate in teaching and learning.
- Leadership experience or interest in developing leadership skills.
