Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning, preparation, and delivery of science lessons and practical activities.
- Maintain and manage science equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and safely stored.
- Assist in the development and implementation of science curriculum and resources.
- Collaborate with teachers to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all science-related activities.
- Provide technical support during science experiments and investigations.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance schedules.
- Assist in the organisation of science events and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant qualification in science or a related field.
- Experience in a school or educational setting, preferably in a science laboratory environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Preferred
- Experience with laboratory equipment and chemical safety procedures.
- Knowledge of current science curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Experience in using digital tools and resources in science education.
