The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Arabic B lessons that promote student achievement and a love for learning.
  • Foster a stimulating and safe learning environment with high expectations and strong classroom management.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the academic and pastoral needs of students.
  • Contribute to the school’s co-curricular programme and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A fully qualified and experienced Arabic B Teacher with a relevant degree and professional teaching qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years teaching experience, with a proven track record of successful academic outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to use a range of teaching and learning strategies.
  • Strong commitment to personal professional development with recent relevant training.
  • Experience in raising standards in Arabic B and a robust knowledge of the subject.
  • Commitment to collaboration with other staff members and building strong relationships.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Ability to contribute to school life through extracurricular activities and events.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching in an international or multicultural setting.
  • Familiarity with the IB curriculum or other international qualifications.
  • Experience in digital innovation and technology integration in the classroom.
  • Leadership experience or a desire to take on leadership roles within the department.
