The Opportunity:

As a Secondary Art Teacher with 3D and AP Experience, you will play a vital role in shaping student creativity and academic success. You will lead a rigorous art curriculum, focusing on Advanced Placement Studio Art and 3D art mediums, while contributing to a vibrant and inclusive school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging art curriculum aligned with AP and standards-based learning outcomes.
  • Prepare students for AP Studio Art exams through comprehensive instruction and assessment.
  • Design and implement lessons in 3D art mediums such as ceramics, sculpture, and 3D design.
  • Collaborate with the fine art department to support a cohesive and innovative art program.
  • Organize and manage bi-annual student art shows and gallery displays.
  • Facilitate advisory sessions and participate in after-school clubs and activities.
  • Support experiential education trips and contribute to the overall school community.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to promote student growth and artistic development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject, with Advanced Placement certification.
  • Minimum of two years of successful AP Studio Art experience as a full-time teacher in an accredited school.
  • Experience in classroom instruction, assessment, and portfolio development.
  • Knowledge of 3D art mediums such as ceramics, sculpture, and 3D design.
  • Ability to organize and manage student art shows and gallery displays.
  • Experience collaborating with the fine art department and grade-level teams.
  • Active involvement in advisory sessions and after-school activities.

Preferred

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Two years of overseas teaching experience.
